Service Description
Kyle is a sports therapist with a particular passion for working with gym-goers, bodybuilders, and powerlifters. He also has extensive experience supporting anyone on their rehabilitation journey. Kyle is available Monday to Thursday and offers services such as 1:1 rehab coaching, tailored training programming, and coaching in small group personal training classes. Purpose of the Initial Consultation Your initial consultation is a vital first step in your recovery or performance journey. This hour-long session allows Kyle to fully understand your injury, pain, and reasons for seeking support. Together, you’ll work towards diagnosing your condition and curating a plan to get you back to feeling like yourself and achieving your goals. What to Expect Kyle will begin by letting you share your concerns, symptoms, and what you hope to achieve from working together. He will ask specific questions about your activity level, gym routine, training goals, and how your condition affects your daily life and performance. Physical Assessment A thorough assessment of your general movement patterns, posture, and range of motion. Joint-specific testing, both actively and with assistance, to evaluate restrictions or pain points. Specialised tests designed to uncover the root cause of your condition, particularly for gym-related issues like lifting mechanics or muscular imbalances. Analysis & Plan Creation Kyle will explain his findings and discuss your diagnosis in simple terms, ensuring you fully understand the issues at hand. Together, you’ll outline the next steps, which may include manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation, and training adjustments tailored to your goals. Treatment & Exercise Prescription Manual Therapy Options: Depending on your needs, Kyle may provide treatments such as: Massage, Joint manipulation, Percussion therapy, Cupping, Instrument-assisted soft tissue massage, Heat or cold therapy, Strapping and taping techniques. Rehabilitative Exercises: You’ll be guided through exercises in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation gym to assess the right starting point for your program. Kyle will tailor these to align with your goals, accessibility to equipment, and performance preferences.
